Police had Keya Morgan arrested on Saturday morning on charges of elder abuse of Stan Lee, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

This comes two weeks after Keya Morgan was charged with five counts of elder abuse, including false imprisonment, fraud and forgery.

Keya Morgan is the late Stan Lee’s former business manager who had been friends for several years, and became closer after Stan Lee’s wife Joan death in 2017.

Stan Lee is famous for writing comic books at Marvel Comics. He is the co-creator characters like Spider Man , Iron Man, Black Panther, Daredevil and many more.

Keya Morgan was arrested in Arizona by Phoenix and Scottsdale police departments in a collaboration with Los Angeles Police Department’s Commercial Crimes Division.

“This morning, Scottsdale and Phoenix Police Department in collaboration with LAPD Commercial Crimes Detectives arrested Keya Morgan on an outstanding Arrest Warrant issued by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office,” read an LAPD statement.

Keya Morgan is expected to appear before a judge before being extradited to California, where the warrant for his arrest was issued, the news release said.

Stan Lee died last year on 12 Nov 2018 at the age of 95. The cause of Stan Lee’s death was Cardiac Arrest, Respiratory Failure and Congestive Heart Failure. Significant Conditions that contributed to his death was Aspiration Pneumonia.

Stan Lee’s estate was estimated to be worth more than US $50 million. The LAPD said “with no clear protection from opportunists who could insert themselves into his life and take control of it (estate)”

Keya Morgan was jailed in Arizona and bail was set at US $300,000.
