Malaysian Police meet China authorities on Low Taek Jho

The Royal Malaysian Police held a meeting with China authorities to help find fugitive Malaysian financier Low Taek Jho (刘特佐), said Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.

Without divulging details on the meeting, Mohamad Fuzi said Low Taek Jho has yet to be found and efforts to detect him are still underway.

“The police are also communicating with Interpol and the status is the same,” he said after a Royal Malaysian Customs Department – PDRM highest level meeting here today.

Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad said the government would continue its effort to find the fugitive financier Low Taek Jho, although it is difficult.

Low Taek Jho was identified by investigators from Malaysia and the United states as the main character in the 1MBD Scandal.

Recently the actor Leonardo DiCaprio testify before a grand jury which was investigating into the 1MBD scandal, in which the actor could provide useful insights about fugitive Low Taek Jho.

Low Taek Jho happens to be often called Jho Low.
