Two teenagers were involved in a Brazil school shooting when they opened fire at the Professor Raul Brasil state school in Suzano in south-eastern Brazil, killing at least five students and one adult employee in the attack before taking their own life.
It is not clear the motive of the shooting, police say.
The shooting happened on 13 Mar 2019, at about 09:30am local time while the students were having a break at the school.
Several other people have been wounded. The two gunmen killed themselves after the attack, police say.
The school has primary and secondary students, and the identities of the victims and the alleged attackers have not yet been released.
Gun crime in Brazil is common, however it is not common that shooting of this nature happen in Brazil.
Sao Paulo state governor Joao Doria tweeted that the victims had been “cruelly murdered”. He has canceled his agenda and headed to the area.
