Bill and Melinda Gates Become Grandparents!
Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, the billionaire philanthropists and former power couple, making Bill and Melinda Gates become grandparents. Their daughter, Jennifer Gates, recently welcomed her first child with husband Nayel Nassar, an Egyptian professional equestrian.
The couple shared the news on Instagram by posting a picture of their baby’s feet, without revealing the baby’s name. Jennifer wrote in the caption, “sending love from our healthy little family 💓🙏🥰” while Melinda commented, “Welcome to the world. My heart overflows.💗🥰💖”
Jennifer and Nayel both attended Stanford University and started dating in 2017. They got married in a beautiful ceremony in October 2021 at a farm in North Salem, New York. Jennifer is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health before completing medical school, while Nayel continues to represent Egypt in equestrian events.
Bill and Melinda have three children together – Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe. The former couple announced their divorce in May 2021 after 27 years of marriage. However, they have maintained a cordial relationship and continue to work together at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which focuses on global health and development issues.
In November 2022, Jennifer and Nayel announced their pregnancy on Instagram, with Melinda expressing her excitement to become a grandmother. “I couldn’t be more excited to meet this little one and watch you two become parents. 💖” she wrote.
