You know the star who plays Drax in the “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies. He is Dave Bautista and he is soon going to part of the Dune reboot by Denis Villeneuve.
Dune is a science fiction media franchise that originated with the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert. In 1984, the Dune film was directed by written and directed by David Lynch. Now the Dune film is going for the reboot.
The former WWE wrestler will be joining Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson headed to Planet Arrakis, land of sand, home of the spice melange.

Dave Bautista will playing the Harkonnen “Beast” Rabban.
Timothée Chalamet will be playing the film’s lead, Paul Atreides.
Rebecca Ferguson will be playing Lady Jessica, the mother of Paul Atreides.
Dave Bautista found himself with an opening in his schedule after Marvel put Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on hold following James Gunn‘s Twitter controversy.
