The Prodigy’s Keith Flint has been found dead at his Essex mansion after taking his own life aged 49.
Keith Flint was the vocalist and dancer for the electronic music band The Prodigy.
The group’s song “Firestarter” was the first number-one single on the UK Singles Chart.
An Essex Police spokesman said: “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday.
“We attended and, sadly, a 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”

Meanwhile on The Prodigy’s Instagram, the group wrote that Keith Flint had committed suicide, taking his own life.
“The news is true , I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend ,I’m shell shocked , f**k*n angry , confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother Liam #theprodigy” was written in their Instagram.
Meanwhile Keith Flint’s wife, Mayumi Kai, is believed to be in Japan when he died.
As of this writing, she has only retweeted a Japanese news post about Keith Flint’s death.
