Jonathan Majors Arrested on Assault Charges, U.S. Army Pulls Advertisements Featuring “Creed III” Star

Actor Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” was arrested in New York City over the weekend on assault and harassment charges. The arrest has led to the U.S. Army temporarily pulling new campaign advertisements featuring Majors.

According to the New York Police Department, Majors was arrested following a domestic dispute in which a 30-year-old woman suffered minor injuries to her head and neck. He appeared in court for an arraignment later on Saturday and was released without bail.

Majors’ defense lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, stated that he is innocent and was “provably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.” She also said that the woman had recanted her allegations.

The U.S. Army spokesperson, Laura DeFrancisco, stated that while Majors is innocent until proven guilty, they are pulling the ads temporarily until the investigation is complete.

The incident has raised concerns about domestic violence and the impact it has on those involved. It is important to take all allegations seriously and let the investigation proceed to determine the truth.
