Albert Finney a Oscar nominated British actor died age 82 after a short illness on 07 Feb 2019.
“Albert Finney, aged 82, passed away peacefully after a short illness with those closest to him by his side.” said a family spokesman.
“The family request privacy at this sad time.”
He began his career at the Royal Shakespeare Company before making a switch to film.
Albert Finney was a five-time Oscar nominee, four times for a best actor Oscar and one time for best supporting actor category, but has never won any.
