Avengers Endgame breaks records with an estimated global debut of US $1.209 billion, making it the first film in history to surpass US $1 billion in its opening weekend.
According to Walt Disney company, Avengers Endgame film reached the billion-dollar threshold in just 5 days. This is more than twice as fast as the previous movie Avengers Infinity War which held the record at 11 days.

Avengers Endgame film earned an estimated of $350 million domestically (US) and $859 million internationally.
Avengers Endgame picks off at the end of last year’s film Avengers Infinity War where the super villain Thanos goes on his quest to collect all six Infinity Stones in order to fulfill his plan to kill half of all life in the universe which he succeed.
Avengers Infinity War ended with many beloved Marvel superheroes fading into dust. Avengers Endgame film continues the story of how the surviving heroes cope with the aftermath of Thanos’s infamous fingersnap.
Avengers Endgame is 3 hours long action and is the epic ending of a rich story line that spreads across 22 marvel studies films since 2008 starting with the first Ironman film all the way till Endgame.
